How do I earn points?

Press “Add Existing Physical Gift Card.” Follow the prompts to enter the gift card number then press the yellow “Done” button. The gift card should now be added to the Roy's Rewards app and able to be used for in-restaurant purchases.

How do I pay with a Cowboy Cash gift card within the app?

How can I check the status of any challenges in the app?

From the More tab, press Challenges. Here, you will be able to see any active challenges and track your progress.

Which locations are not participating locations?

As of 1/1/2026, our PA Turnpike locations and our Pine Beach, NJ location do not accept the Roy's Rewards app.

I got a new phone! How do I make sure my points transfer from my old phone?

Download the Roy's Rewards app from the App Store or the Google Play Store. Once downloaded, press the app icon to load the app. Press the yellow “Let's Get Started” button on the first screen. If you have used the Roy's Rewards app in the past 3 years, press the yellow “Skip” button on the second screen. Guests should only press the “Transfer” button if they haven't signed into the Roy's Rewards app for at least 3 years. If you previously signed up using your Apple ID or Facebook login, select the corresponding option. If you signed up via email, press the yellow “Log In” button. Use your existing email address and password to log into the Roy's Rewards app and your points from your previous phone will show on your new phone.
